This unique wedding venue is like no other in Hawke's Bay.
Cape Estate offers a private garden wedding setting within the homestead area of a 1000 acre family farm located on the elevated Te Awanga Downs. The venue has sweeping views across vineyards and the spectacular Hawke's Bay coastline, from Mahia Peninsula across to Napier Hill through to the landmark Black Reef at Cape Kidnappers.
The Cape Estate venue is set in the homestead's expansive 2ha park like grounds with two grass tennis courts and swimming pool.

Cape Estate B&B over looks our two grass tennis courts within the homestead grounds. It's a great base to explore all the exciting the exciting gems of the Hawke's Bay region, play golf on the challenging Cape Kidnappers International golf course right next door, wine and dine at award winning wineries and cafes near by or simply as an oasis of peace and tranquility to escape the worries of the world.
Iconic to the Hawke’s Bay social calendar, the Boxing Day Festival returns for it's 9th occasion at Cape Estate in 2024.
The festival delivers the best in Hawke’s Bay hospitality and entertainment drawing together family and friends in an open-air garden stage setting to bring you a memorable summer occasion.
The festival is open to all ages, kids 12 & under will have free entry and an enhanced kids zone featuring a bouncy castle. Youths aged 13-17 also welcome. All must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
